Levels of Paradox
A 19” x 24” hanging wall piece, made up of almost 50 sheets of 157 lb. bristol vellum. Each layer was cut by hand and then adhered to the next piece, creating a 3-dimensional abstract landscape texture, celebrating the unusual and mysterious beauty of the pyramids at Giza, Egypt. The accompanying book uses slightly lighter paper stock, a silver wire binding, and a 3-dimensional hand cut edge detail.
